I just made my first osage bow.I was just wondering what size arrows you guys use for a 50#@28" bow. I did back it with drywall tape to give it a snake skin look then I painted it.it is 66" maybe linc will come and post pictures for me of the bow.

There are alot of variables with selbow, how close to center shot it is.But my selbows seemed to require a weaker spine to flex around the bow.On my 50# selbow I shot 40-45# 5/16" Norway pine with 125 grain points. And on my 55# selfbow I shot 45-50# POC.They shot better with a slightly weaker spine, but every selfbow is different.
