Got my new bowfishing set-up today!!

Well after looking a lot of stuff over I bought a PSE Kingfisher and a AMS retreiver 4 points and 4 fisharrows and I also picked Up a LH AMS for $36 brand new, everything was $204 and I believe a steal. I came home and set evrery thing up and it is sweet. I had the op. to get a bunch of nice older recurves, but I wanted something I can drop and beat up real good, this PSE fits the bill, and it shoots great! Shawn

You did good for that price for sure. I have a PSE kingfisher in my line up of fishing bows and it sure can take a lot of abuse. I look forward to seeing your future hero pics.

Good gear there!  One problem though, the kingfisher sinks while a lot of wooden bows float.  When you are pulling in that hog-of-a-carp, don't drop your bow.

Hey Shawn, thats a great bow fishing rig. Dad sells them and he says it's a great bow......We went scouting this afternoon and found a bunch of BIG fish.....We're going after them tomorrow night...We wish you and Curt were close enough to go with us! Good Luck...SKYLER

We have another month before we can start up, but Curt, Damon and I are gonna be going for sure. Damon has a hot spot on Sleepy Hollow Lake, it should be good. I went out and shot it some tonight and I will not have to worry about holding low, the thing at 10 yards drops aboout 10"s below point of aim. I can't wait!! Jamie ya can come too ya know!! Shawn

Sounds cool Shawn, but I have no gear for it. Let me know though...I have often wondered what all the fuss was about with bowfishing. I would love to get out there and find out.

Sounds like a good deal Shawn    me and Joe are set up good this year Joe has a Bear 76er  and I'm shooting a Grizzly we both have AMS reels and about 3 arrows a piece. It looks like I'm going to buy a small boat.
