Best hard bowcase for t/d

I want a nice case for my t/d zipper.  Something I can store arrows and bow in.  I saw one on 3rivers I like. Its a hard case.  But little more expensive than I planned on.  

Anyone else have one they suggest?

I keep saying this and it seems folks think I'm joking.  A hardsided golf bag can travel with your bow, arrows ans much of your gear.  Sometimes the airlines don't charge for them-these days they charge for everything

A pelican case I think it is model 1720.  Cut the foam out yourself.  They are gorilla proof...Mike

Take a look at Ski/Snow Board Cases.  If you are taking it apart, look at a couple of the PVC "do-it-yourself" systems guys have made here.  Lots of possibilities.

I just bought the MTM Arrow Plus case for my take down and arrows. When I bought my take down, it was shipped in a cardboard box with some nice die cut foam that perfectly fit around the limbs and riser. That foam fits perfectly in the MTM case, along with a dozen arrows and, and there's a few compartments for other gear. Here's a link:

I've got one of the 3rivers cases for my Martin.  It's solid and really does the job, but I don't think you could put arrows in it.

If you can find one, Hoppe made an outstanding case.  There was one on *-Bay not too long ago, Bear had their name on it.  It's hard plastic, divided in section and locks.  It holds 2 TD bows and 2 doz arrows.
BTW, I paid a guy $30.00 for this one about 2 years ago.

I bought a hardside t/d shotgun case from Gander Mountain....cut your own foam and you're ready to go.

I did what Homebru said....  59$$ out the door lockable, hard case and holds most everything.

Angus - yes, your Latin is "rusty":

It means:  "Lord save us from the arrows of the Hungarians"

Every piece of luggage beyond one costs more money these days.  All these extra pieces are great at protecting bows, and look like an easy ID for thieves.  The takedown bow, with arrows, your clothes and kit pretty much fit in the golf bag.  That leaves the second bag for bringing back meat.  Just so happens I manage an airport, know how things go in the back of the counters.  Also know the extra cost per bag is bound to rise, maybe real soon.
