Well I made my first back quiver.... punching holes with a leatherman stinks, but it is nice to know it works if need be in a pinch.  I picked up the Martin Hunter recently, so I had to do something with the Impala -- so I dyed the riser "Incredible Hulk Green".  At least it shows off some wood grain now and its a bit different so I like it.  I actually fletched my own arrows for the first time last week.  Not too tough really!  What suprizes me more is that they actually work!  I had to go with 340's 'cause the Hunter is pulling 69# at my draw length of 31.5 inches.  I stuck 125gr glue-on field points on adapters with 100gr brass inserts, along with the uncut 32 inch  shafts.  They actually tuned up nice.  And for some weird reason they work out of the Impala that is 5 pounds lighter too....    Just had to share!

Nice job beepy. Making something yourself sure gives a fella a good feeling. Looks really good.  :)  Gap

The more I look at that Martin Hunter the more I think I want one.  :)

Yes, I am really fond of the Hunter too.  I was looking for a longer recurve b/c of my long draw -- It was this one or a Dream Catcher.  Boy, they were both smooth and fast.  I liked the wood on the Hunter better.
