EASTERNARCHER

I've recently come upon some good fortune(IMO) in that I have been gifted 2 takedown recurve bows...both bows are in need of new risers. in a previous post I mentioned that one was a Fred BEar Kodiak Takedown.

Now considering that I plan on utilizing multiple lams in both AND I plan on re-creating the classic design of the Bear riser, which glue would work best in this case? Smooth-on, Urac-185 or Thunderbird? I've never used Smooth-on, but have used Urac to build several all wood lam bows

Any thoughts?

I'd use the Urac if you using all wood. If your using fiberglass or phenolic at all I'd go with the Smooth On. Smooth on would work either way.
