looking getting a recurve bear is my first choice.
here is what it comes down to
65 grizz exc location florida
kodiak hunter two small screw holes from a darn sight 90% listed here.green limbs green riser.
70s grizz kr in ser# 90-95 % on e+++
68 kodiak hunter has pin sight exc. on e+++.
like them all and being left handed pickings are
slim.would you let the screw holes bother you if the rest of the bow was in good shape?tell me
which one you would buy.sure was easier getting my
long bow
thanks gary
the 65 is at traditional archery sales in
lakeland florida

i have a 70's bear super kodiak that my dad put sight on and i took off.  who cares about two screw holes?  if it really bugs you, put some filler in it and marker the same color.  You going to shoot and hunt with it or hang it on the wall like art?

A man may not care for golf and still be human, but the man who does not like to see, hunt, photograph, or otherwise outwit birds or animals is hardly normal.    -Aldo Leopold

I would go with the bow listed here over the auction site.  The auction site is a sellers market, not a buyers.  As for the holes, you can fill them.

I'm with Earl E., that '65 is nice bow.

I agree w/Stringdancer. Too many red flags at the auction site. Drag that '65 bow around the woods awhile and you'll forget the holes.

I agree also because I sell on the auction site.
Definitely can get more money there. But if you want to buy, you will never find the integrity and honesty on the auction site that you find right here.

I just bought a 70's vintage Grizzly right off this site, when it was all said and done I paid about the same as I would of paid for a lesser bow on the other site. And the quality was far better, it also comes with peace of mind.

holes are okay as long as the price is right, of course i never is on said auction site.  As long as your familiar with the different models of bear bows   you should know which is best for you.  I gravitate towards sixties grizzlys as will because of the length and appearance.
