Spring Turkey Tag!!!!!

I Got a Spring Turkey tag for the second season here in Michigan!! Hunt is 4/28 thru 5/4 Should be a great season!! Got my new to me widow longbow All ready. I start a 6 week Dart league in about 1 1/2 weeks so should be all ready for Turkey's!!!!

Got mine today as well for the 21st through the 27th.I will have to thin the herd by one gobbler before you hit the woods LOL.

I honestly can not imagine living somehwere where I may or may not draw a turkey tag............I get 5 tags a season gauranteed every year.Guess I can't really complain as much as I like to.

I hear ya "Varmint" I get 4 tags a year,2 for the spring and 2 either sex tags for the fall season.Good luck to you Michigan guys...hope you break in your new to you longbow on a big fat gobbler Jeff.

You get to hunt the guaranteed hunt if you don't draw for your preferred season in Michigan. I have the first hunt in Michigan also and plan to hunt hard with my little brother. I'll warm up by serving Renegade a large hepling of whoop ass in the DART league

My wife and I just received our notification that we were successful in the turkey drawing as well. Can't wait to put the DB blind to use. But first, I've gotta locate the turkeys. I think all the rain has forced them to abandon the cover behind our home.

I've noticed a couple small groups on the way to work about a mile away. Probably wouldn't hurt to stop by during the next big snow and offer to help plow a driveway...

I was lucky and got the 2nd week, April 28 - May 4th. area K which is nw lwr Mi. My brother and me will be taking the wall tent up for a week. Think I'll bring the flyrods also. Great time to find Morels too.

Jeff, how in the world did you get someone to take that old Asbell Widow from you in exchange gor a Widow longbow? You should be ashamed of yourself

LOL!! To Bad Coty switched to modern bows... He would whip us all!!!
As for Freds bow It Was brand new!! I bet it didn't have 70 arrows thru it! I'm Happy I just Hope Gib is Happy.

I got a Michigan tag for the guaranteed hunt in May. I also got a 1st season tag for Wisconsin, I'll be huntin em hard!!!!!! Good luck everyone!

We should be able to get 4 or 5 tags. The things outnumber the deer and yet we are limited to one in the spring and one in the fall, if you draw. But at least we can kill the hens in the fall, thus limiting the amount a litle. ZZ for me, the first two weeks on private land in zone 3.
