Kids' suction cup arrows

Anybody know where to buy some suction cups? I have a 3-year-old grandson I want to give a bow and arrows to, but he has a couple of younger sisters and I want to reduce the small chance of an accident.

With suction cup tips, his mom or dad could supervise indoors while he shoots the refrigerator like I did at that age.

I'd like to find ones with a 1/4" hole in the back to fit the shaft into.

bayoulongbowman, did you find just the suction cups, or the whole arrows? I want to make the arrows and need just the suction cups.

If you bought arrows, Who markets them, and better yet, any makers mark on the rubber tips?

Jim, Try McMaster Carr.  They may have some that will work. Do a search on Google.

I just checked McMaster Carr. They have some 1" diameter that might work. They have an 8-32 screw molded into them, so maybe I could drill a hole in the end of the arrow shaft and epoxy the screw in it. Maybe .....

Jim -- what a blast from the past! I clearly remember getting my first "real" bow at age 8 -- a solid fiberglass longbow with little bends at the ends, faking at recurves. And real arrows I shot at neighborhood birds and cats. But I'd completely forgotten about all the fun I had even younger with -- who knows how many? -- cheap little wooden bows with suction-cup arrows that never stuck to anything, but obviouly got me hooked on archery for life. Thank God there are folks like you who still value real rubber suction cups over computerized "virtual" game arrows! Lucky kids. d

My kids started out shooting at our bay window. They would lick the end and then shoot it. Fun was over when mom got up one Sunday morning as the sun was shining through the window and saw about 100 little circles all over the window. Needless to say daddy does windows.

Careful with them.  when my daughter was two I made her a little bamboo longbow. She had perfect form and enjoyed shooting the pictures of animals we had as well as her stuffed animals with HTMs.  When we went to a taxidermist display, he was shocked that she could tell him what all of the animals were even the difference between mule deer and blacktail.  When I was at work my wife showed her that suction cup points would stick to windows.  It didn't stick, it blew the window right out into the yard in pieces.

I've seen some suction cup arrows advertised on the 'Bay, but I can't tell who made them.

 At the craft stores you can get the suction cup holders for window hangings.  They come in various sizes and can easily be modified to make a head out of.  Plus they are very cheap.  Some have a little metal hanger, but it is easily removed.
