Will anybody give me any Competition?

I was wondering if anyone will even be a close second to me at the PBS turkey Calling Competition? :D :D ....I might even not use a call and do all natural voice.

I know nuthin bout huntin turkeys...but I do know a bit how they sound and do some passable voice calls. Voice vs. Voice, Shuster can be the judge (not Biggie cuz he can be bribed too easily with fine viddles). I'll bet ya dinner at The Catfish House....course, you got to come to Paradise for the showdown

Good luck at the Banquet though!

Ole Biggie is the best Purrer in the business.. he purred one right over top of me three years ago.....i learned an old Chineese lesson on that.."Ye make man good call, it will bite you back"...of coarse i will say i got set up late because Marty and Him gave me some bad directions to my blind?

JC... man don't stack the cards against you.. you know the Paradise is like my home court. What a place to turkey bowhunt..

Hello Lewis, I'm secretly getting paid by PBS to talk smack to get some more entires. i personally know nothing about how a PA turkey sounds so I probably won't place.

I drive around between appointment with my windows rolled up on my truck in between trips to the papermills,

practicing various turkey calls....some people riding by must make a double take some days!!! good luck , Marco#78

That was my finest moment in the trukey woods. I was on one side of the swamp and Joey was on the other.....I called the gobbler away from the master and Marty killed him.

(Course I was using the infamous Joebuck handmade slate call)

Thanks Marco, i was down your way this weekend at our fishing camp in Empire,La. We just rebuilt! i'm right there with you...if it's not a mouth call then it's a duck call in my mouth when i driven. People driving by think I'm sucking meth! i work for a big paper company.. inland c....we on the same payroll?

Big Mike..your going to ruin JC's life! if you makin chairs..i'll plug you at PBS? i have a slide or two of mine.

Biggie ..I'm still tore up....that purr of yours is illegal...i need to rub that slate with some crisco friday night when your asleep

Joey, I'm making them if someone wants them, I'm not making anything off of them, unless Ray has up'ed the price. I've been making them to be 20" high and letting the buyer trim the legs to what is right for them.

The turkeys in the woods around here sound like very amateur turkey callers at those competitions. I can only take about ten minutes of a turkey calling contest....I'm ready to head for the door about then 8^).

Joey, I will whip your tail in the turkey calling contest!

I do a mean Osceola. I just don't make any noise. Sounds just like a gobbler.

I hear those gobblers gobblin on the roost. I set up early and call and nothing. My buddies say it's because I snore too loud.

My strategy at PBS is to bring you my famous Florida Sour Orange pie and give it to you right before the contest. It's hard to call with your mouth full. Actually I may have to make a few for Biggie and Marty as well.

DonD....you are so right.....the Osceola is the hardest gobbler in the world to call in..I keep blaming Marty of setting me up on the "camp" bird. That rascal would rather sneak in than announce his intentions......My strategy at PBS is keep my wife away from anyone that knew me 50#s ago

Well Joey,

Out of respect for you I'll not do my guaranteed to win calling at PBS. I thought it was a comedy competition but I just found out it is serious. I still think a couple of pebbles in a coke can fools em every time.Don't know why it works cause it makes a racket just like those annoying corn feeders we use for hogs.
