I am doing some research on making my own recurve.  I would like to laminate the limbs and use fiberglass, but am curious on how you adjust the bow to your desired draw wt during construction?

Thickness of the limbs, you change thickness of wood lams and glass to get what you want .If you make an oops, you can tweak a little by shortening the bow to add weight or narrowing the limbs to lighten it. Good luck with your project! Check here too....
