Have an older (20 yrs+) leather back quiver that I have used off - on. It is pretty stiff and does not "lay" or close onto the arrows thus noisey arrows.

How can I get the quiver to fold in onto the arrows so as to quiet them as I walk, shoot, etc.

Thanks.

John

Try some  Montana Pitch-Blend
A Gobbler yelp Spring or Fall is a long conversation.

Overspined

Even some vegetable oil is a good one to use. That is what was recommended to me by the guy who made my quiver.

John- Don't add any oils to the area that will be against your back, it will end up on your shirts. oil the inside of the quiver well, the outside  thats away from you. Lexol is a good softener, and wont darken the leather as much as most other oils.,Biff

Hi Ron. What is Lexol and where can I get some?
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.

TXRED

Tandy Leather(among others,I'm sure) sells the Lexol Leather Conditioner. It's good stuff with no stain problems.

Neats glove oil will make soft enough to make it pliable, like leather gloves if you put enough on.  I apply mine on the inside of the quiver, it soaks through, but allows the smooth surface to maintain in firmness.

Tandy leather has a couple of good leather conditioning oils and creams.  Take a look at there website or give them a call.

John- you can get Lexol in most feed stores if they sell horse tack also. Many shoe stores sell it and so does Tractor Supply.
