I've read people saying to adjust brace hight till bow is quiet and shoots best, but I can't tell any difference really.

I have a 68"longbow with a dacron string so it is pretty quiet anyway. Recomended brace hight is 6.5" to 7"

Any advice appreciated.

If the shot feels the same and noise doesn't change, set the brace at the lowest you can. Every inch lower brace height is gives you about 4% in gained performance.

Thanks vermonster13, does that mean I could take it lower than the recomended height as long as all feels OK?

V13 said it about as good as you can say it.

yeah keep it low and you might after quite a few shots notice a little extra shock or vibration, that means you stretched past your spot so just give it a twist, its pretty easy to stay right on that edge.
