I am thinking of presenting myself with a retirement gift that I definantly deserve.
Strange how my employer doesn,t feel the same way,ha. Anyhows not having shot either, what do my peirs sugjest, a Cheyene morrisen recurve,or a new Silvertip. whadda ya think?

Killdeer

I just bought one, and would love to try the other. It all depends on which one suits your hand. Try them both over the summer, and make an informed decision.
Or buy both.  :goldtooth:
Killdeer  :)
Long, long afterward, in an oak I found the arrow, still unbroke;
And the song, from beginning to end, I found again in the heart of a friend.

I found this scripture somewhere:

THOU SHALL NOT HAVE JUST ONE BOW!

Both of these bows are excellent. I would go to one of the big shoots close to your area and try them out.

Crooked Stic

Wow what choices ah lets see ---- Can you afford both of them  :bigsmyl:  I have shot both and if I had them both in front of me I would have to well over spend.

Another question is how long do you want to wait for your retirement gift??

I have a SilverTip on order,ordered it around Christmas,aughta have it by November this year.Not sure what the wait on a Morrison is.Just another thing to think about............

I gave myself a Super Shrew Samurai a year after my retirement, I love the bow, but I have become a man of, if not instant, reasonably quick gratification when it comes to bows.  Don't torture yourself!  But get what you want! Retirement only happens a few times, I working on mt second!  That means another bow for me, if I,m not too old to shoot it!   Congratulations on your retirement!
