Three Arrows

When hunting season is over, it is time for me to try new bows, make strings, and make up arrows.  In the last couple years, I have found it to be difficult at times to find 5" shield cuts in right wing.  At least that is my general impression by not having those available in my desired colors.  Looking online, I see twice the colors available in left wing as I do right.  It used to be very tough to find left wing, now it is just the opposite.  Some suppliers these days only offer left wing, with right wing as special order.  Does anyone have a plausible explaination for this?  Turkeys still have two wings a piece don't they?  Or are they just mainly right winged turkeys and we want to give 'em a fighting chance?   :knothead:

Captive turkeys get their wings clipped to keep them from flying.  Mostly, it is the right wing that gets clipped, so there are fewer RW feathers.
