Recieved some beautiful  Legacy's from Mike Walker. Bare shafted at 98 yards.  I shot the 125, 145, and 160 grain. All three shot excellent with only the 160gr shooting slightly right knock left. The others were so close but i think i will try the 145gr as they seem to shoot perfect. Is this common with aluminum arrows? They seemed like they were made for the bow. Now i need to go outside and see a little more.

I wish it were always that easy, sounds like you found the shaft/length combo that your bow loves, stick with it.

I have exprienced less problems bareshafting aluminum shafts than any other.  I have spent so much time doing it, that I can take just about any weight bow(that I am going to set up for me)and get the right length, and FOC to make it work.

I perfer 175grain heads because with adaptors and 125grain heads I can get there so easily.  I don't bareshaft at 98 yards, but I do so at 30 yards, far enough for me.

I have found bare shafting to be very easy with the Legacy's also. Carbons drive me nuts so far.

Thought you might be shooting in a really large warehouse or something! lol

i shoot @ 20 with a bare shaft, and fine- tune at 30, but that's as far out as i can go and shoot accurately. 98yards, man, that's out there!
