Like wtpops, I've had the privilege of hunting with Bjorn. He's a class act all the way!

Congrats Bjorn, I know you've really been putting in the time and have the hog hunting bug REAL bad!  Way to go my friend.

I see that you mentioned that and your son hunt the Hillside Ranch. It is adjacent to my club's ranch, Hedgepeth. We are on both sides of the tributary off Stewarts Pt./Scaggs Springs. You have probably seen our GRam signs. We chase those swine back and forth between the properties all the time. I notice when our late season general(inclds. firearms) hunt season starts I glass them on the hills below the big white house. Great area, never fail to get a stalk on at least once a day the past two seasons. Nice porker your son took. Keep pushing them over and my guys promise to do the same! Well less one or two for we bring back to my camp:)

Well said!  Family bowhunting has got to be the ultimate in hunting!

Adam nice camo shirt, If Jimmy bow hunted instead of doing drugs he might still be here.

Now there's a really good thought ...

Congrats on a fine hog, Bjorn!

Good to see one of the good guys getting some real quality time with his son making memories and enjoying His creation. So, how do you hunt hogs? Spot and stalk, sit on trails...?
Isaiah 49:2...he made me a polished arrow and concealed me in his quiver.

Bjorn

All of our killshave been spot and stalk spot and stalk. If we see or hear pigs coming our way we will wait to see if they are going to pass near by, or maybe we can converge on them.
Often we can move pigs (without really disturbing them at all) toward the other hunter if we can't get close enough ourselves.
With my son we work the same general area but pretty much out of sight of each other, we have radios for emergencies, and I like to know where he is.

Bjorn, sounds like you get to hunt with your son often, cherish the moment. All too soon, life takes over and time is hard to come by .

Stay sharp, Kenny.
