Hello, everyone....

I'm new to this site, so I'm just checking in.

I've mostly been perusing the traditional bow classified. Lot of great equipment for sale. Wish I had the money to pick up an extra bow or two. Otto has a couple of nice ones that I wouldn't mind owning. Certainly is a dangerous place to visit. I'll just have to keep it a secret from my wife.

I've been having problems with the elbow on my bow arm, and the topic on this subject here in the PowWow forum was a great help. I kind of figured for myself what the problem was, I just confirmed it here.

So far, this site has been a great resource. I also hope to make a few new friends while I'm at it.

I'll go now, but I'll be checking back in everyday.

Nite, all.
Chuck

Hey Chuck,

I've been hoping to meet you sometime but it seems we don't seem to cross paths.  There are, I think four or five of us from Juneau on here.

What part of town do you live in?  I'm in West Valley.

akbowbender

Hi, everyone. Thanks for the warm welcome, even from you, Gene!

Steve: I'm in the Valley also at the north end of Julep St. Good to know that there are some other Juneau traditionalists using this site, as well as other Alaskans like Mark Maves. How ya doing, Mark?

We may have one more Juneauite joining the site. He now shoots a compound bow, but wants to get a recurve. I let him know about Tradgang and the bow classified ads. Wish I had a bow to sell him to get him onboard right now.

I just read a few of the hunting stories in the Articles/Stories forum. Great stuff! I need the post the stories I wrote for the Club's Bowhunting Supplement.

I guess I should start a new thread and continue my ramblings there....
