Adding weight to my arrows

I shoot a 47# @ 28" browning wasp. I am actually pulling about 45# with it. I have beman 500 arrows with 100 gr field point. The fixed blade 100gr broadheads i tried would plane hard bottom left. I have had penet. problems on deer and want a heavier arrow. Any suggestions

Most guys probably shoot around 10 grs per pound (but not all) With that guide line you should be around 450 grs total weight. The weight is not the most important factor. Bareshaft tuning is in my mind. Go to O L Adcocks site and read up on how to bareshaft tune. You will be miles ahead.

Weight tubes or solid brass inserts will do the trick.
