Browning nomad

there is a browning nomad that I am thinking about buying on ****, does anyone have experiance with these bows, I need a good cheap recurve for ground hunting, gonna try a camo paint job on it

I had one and a Nomad Stalker. If I remember right the Nomad was the one with a riser like the Bear Kodiak Hunter and the Stalker had the slimmer riser. I sent it to the troops overseas last year during our collection for the troops. Both were fine bows and good shooters. I also have at present a Cobra 11. I like the Browning bows. Well built in my opinion and good lookers. I'm sure the Browning will do the job for you.
   Another bow that you might check out if the Browning bidding gets too high is a Redwing Hunter. A fine bow you can get for a decent price. I think I just saw one in the classifieds here recently.

They are smokers, very quick and quiet bows. I think the older brownings are some of the most under-rated bows out there. Shawn
