I received one of these new for Christmas. It consistently reads 3-4 lbs under the listed weights on the 5 bows I have measured. I have tried the adjustment knob with 0 results. Does anyone have any suggestions or did I just get a dud?

Second one in two days I've heard have this problem. The other was 5#s under every time.

Not the first time I've heard of that problem too.

Maybe your all assuming the weight marked on the bows are correct!!!! I have not seen a bowyer yet that uses other than a spring type scale and they are close at best and need to be calabrated from time to time.
