I have tried to sharpin my snuffers using a file like the magnus web site says but they dont feel very sharp to me. i tried using a diamond stone fine and then used a fine wet stone and i got them sharp enough to almost shave but i would like to get them to shave. does anyone know how to sharpin them. i am going to be using them for pig hunting. File sharp will stay sharp longer. I can get them shaving sharp with a file. Just ease up on the pressure as you are finishing them off. Magnus recommends a burr be left on the blade. Trust me, they do tremendous tissue damage when filed sharp.
