Fellas, I got a GamemasterII. Its a little "high tech" for me but I love the way it shoots. It`s kinda loud but not as loud as some widows I`ve owned and I loved them as well. Anyway, I was looking for a 45lber for my shoulder and a friend had this. I bare shafted a 45-60 carbon express hunter light. I got 10 at walmart for 2 bucks each. They are 29" long. I put a 100 grain brass insert in one and a 225 grain field point. It bareshafted straight at twenty yards. Shooting at a 2 inch spot inside a 3" circle after about ten shots I finaly slipped one outside the 3" circle. Not bad for no feathers. I`m thinking bout this set up with 4-5" feathers and 220 grain muzzy phantom. What do you think. Should work for deer pigs and turkeys.
The Gamemaster II is underrated in my opinion.RC

Sounds deadly to me...
could probably bring down an elk or bear just fine in a pinch.

I have been shooting the same set up out of my 45# Red Wing.  I have not used it for hunting deer yet, but works good for small game so far. Use some rubber from an inner tube between the limbs and riser to quiet that thing down, should help.
I will give thanks to the LORD because of his righteousness and will sing praise to the name of the LORD Most High.

Use cork gasket material from a auto parts, cut to shape for limb pads.

RC I hear ya about being underrated.I have a friend who owns one and it is very fast with little to no handshock.
Doesn't have the beauty of wood but is a solid shooter for sure.

RC, the way folks say you can shoot, doesn't surprise me you can bareshaft a 3" dot.

Gamemaster is a great riser...I love the grip once I got used to it. The limbs, at least on the few I shot, were dogs however. I shot one with olympic limbs and the DAS conversion: way quieter, smoother and excellent performance.

I'm always on the lookout for a cheap Gamemaster riser to turn into an evil metal bow...yet to find one though.

I'm sure we'll see a stack of hero pics with you and that new bow with some poor innocent pigs or such in the months to come. Glad to hear the shoulder problems have been overcome  :campfire:

I just picked up a used GM1 45# to play with. I got it as a back up and something lighter weight to rest my shoulders when the time comes. I also wanted a DURABLE bow to take to Iraq with me this up coming deployment. Didnt want to take a wood bow, cause I dont know how they will hold up in the elements.

I'll have it in my hands next week, and I'll be sure to post a review here. Now I gotta find some cheap arrows that will survive 18 month in the box...
Then I heard the voice of the Lord saying,
"Whom shall I send? And who will go for us?"
And I said, "Here am I. Send me!" Isaiah 6:8
