I'm trying to find out what the inside diameter of a Axis shaft is - or even better yet, what the diameter of the X nock is - the portion that fits inside the Axis shafts.

Anyone have a nock or shaft and a micrometer that can check this info for me?  Thanks in advance.

All the best,
Glenn
If at first you don't succeed.... buy newer / better equipment!

Pat B.

I miked a couple of inserts and get .2044 ....
Yep, happen to have some pretty good micrometers, several sets of 'em... And the standards to check 'em with... Grin..

Axis take the X-nocks,the older Epic's took the standard carbon nocks and inserts. The newer ST Epic's are right in between Axis and older Epic's.The newer St Epic's take HP inserts and H-nocks.

Pat B,
Thanks for taking the time to measure them.  I'm looking for something that will fit an arrow shaft with a diameter of .2155 - .2165, so those will be a little loose.  I've got a micrometer too... handy little tool, ain't it?   :D

JRY309,
I was not aware of that.  Thank you very much for that info.  Would you happen to know the diameter of the H-nocks or the inserts that go into those arrows?

Thanks for the replies.  I greatly appreciate you taking the time to do so.
All the best,
Glenn
