Wondering if anyone can tell me the thread size on screw in points?  I have some aluminum inserts that are bound up and would like to buy a tap to clean out the threads.

Thanks!  Mark

8-32 is the thread size for standard screw in inserts. Hope this helps. You may also see it listed on charts as .164 x 32 This is the outside diameter (.164) of an 8-32 screw.

The tap thread you are looking for is not 8/32.

It is 8 guage, 32 threads per inch.

Also ask for a bottom tap, not tapered or inter.
Three things you cant take back, time past, harsh words and a well sped arrow
