Are 2315 and 2317 s????

Doug in MI

Will 2315 inserts fit 2317s or is the inside shaft diameter different on each?.I'm trying to help out a fellow Trad gang member he needs some 2317 inserts and all I have are 2315s and I dont know if they will work.Thanks for any help.

From what I understand, no they will not fit. The ID of the 2315 is larger than the ID of the 2317.

I shot 2317's for a year or two, and the only inserts that came with them were 2315's. They worked. Thought it a fluke, so I went and bought some more 2315 inserts, and low and behold, they worked too...

What is the inside diameter of a 2315 or a 2317 shaft? I want to experiment with one.The biggest I have are 2216.   :campfire:

The I.D. of 2315 is .329" and the 2317 is .325".
