I had been looking for a Shrew for several months, with no luck, well right before X-mas I found a used one and my wife got it for me as my Christmas present from her. Its a Super Shrew 58" 58lbs @ 28" the grey bark model. It arrived 2 days before Christmas and she would not even let me take it out of the box until Christmas eve. Anyway I opened it up, set the brace height to 7", took a few arrows outside for a bit of night shooting. (Note to ones self: when you are out at 11:30 on Christmas eve shooting your bow - you have a problem). First three arrows shot at 18 yards all touching dead in the center of the bull. (WOW) I figured it was just the new bow syndrome, but it wasn't. I shot for about 20 min at different distances and had the same result. The bow is quiet, no hand shock and the arrow goes right where I look. Everything I have ever read about the shrews is spot on. Now I know why they are so hard to find, no one wants to give them up. Funny thing is, that I never would have found out about the Shrew's if it was not for this site. Thanks a lot for everyone sharing the good information.
PS: I am going to have several bows up for sale shortly.  ;)  Got to get me another Shrew for back up!  :goldtooth:

How can all that power come from something so thin and light?

Congrats on your new bow.

Shooting your new bow at 11:30 on Christmas eve is just plain cool. "Every time an arrow hits, an angel gets his wings".

Hard to get Reindeer to land at your house if arrows are flying around though.

I KNOW you had a merry Christmas, so I`ll just say happy new year!

Dean I did the same. 54" 65lbs @ 28. Ron said the wait was about 11 months. I am going with the Classic Hunter in the gold. Osage and Cocobola!

Shooting a new bow at 11:30 at night is NOT a problem...I figure that anyone that got a new bow for Christmas, and DIDNT shoot it immediately, has a problem!!..L.O.L..I've been out there in the middle of the night, shooting by the light of the garage, myself..L.O.L..Harperman

I traded for a shrew here on TG back in Aug.
Same story.  Took it out of the box and shot it just cuz.  Elk season was starting in a few days and did not want to change bows before the season started  It shot great. Opening day of the Colo bow season I shot a 5X5 bull with it.  Woodsman bh and a 100 yard ( or so ) recovery.  Love that bow.

These Shrew bows sound great! Anyone got a website address so I can check them out myself? Been shooting a 60# PSE Raven with good results but always lookin' for something better.

Great bows,I've owned several Shrews & Griffins. My favorite grip on any LB and they are plenty fast enough.

The target is still going strong.  I have thousands of shots on just the first side.  Know where I could get another one or two?  Still want to see your Shrew.  I know mine has become my go to.  I hardly shoot any of my others now.
