Black Widow guys/ ASBELL GRIP

When using the ASBEL grip, does the fat part of the grip rest on the fat part of the lower hand, under the thumb? Or do you wedge it between the crease in the middle of the lower hand where teh thumb and pinky pads meet?

AAAUUHHH What did you say up there...I would describe it as a high wrist grip with a palm swell..The best grip I have felt.Well almost Cari-bow with the antler thumb rest is sweet to.

Are you asking if you hold the bow straight-on or with your wrist rotated outward? I'm confused. Did I make it worse?

When using the ASBELl Grip where do you put the most pressure on the hand?

Anybody got any pictures???

On my Widows, with both the standard and Asbell grip, the pressure is on/in the web of my hand, between the thumb and forefinger. With the Asbell, my palm is touching the swell, but there is no real pressure there. With the standard, my palm does not touch the grip at all. I don't know if this is right or wrong,but it seems to work for me. Hope this helped you some! Mike

Steve, I agree with Mike. The most pressure is on the web of the hand as he described it. Here is a picture of the grip if that is what you meant by pictures.

That ought to mix things up a litte this holiday season, right pastor?! I probably broke a rule but I couldn't resist. Hope the info. already given helps. You'll never preach a "bad" sermon when you're preaching the truth. Some have eyes and cannot see and ears and cannot hear. I have a mouth and cannot speak LOL!

What Mike said. I prefer the Asbell grip it is kinda like the Pearson Hunter grips from the mid 60's and the Kodiak mag of the 70's. Shawn

like mike and chris said,the pressure is in the web, but your palm does touch the swell, just let it lay in your hand and draw the bow, one of the things i really like about the asbell grip, is that you dont need to adjust anything, it really fits your hand nice..a real natural grip.
