I found these two in my backyard this morning. They were very friendly though. The one on the left is an absolute extension of my bow hand. Never have I shot anything else like it. The one on the right is my newest aquisition. It has the straight grip, which will require a learning curve. Both are Osage and just beautiful in their simple lines. Ya'll should all try one of these, if you haven't already. It will open your eyes.
Disclaimer: I am in no way affiliated with Great Northern Bow Company. I traded for both of these used bows. I may be the biggest fan though!

Let the haunting, err...hunting begin.

Those are some nice bows.

I foolishly sold my Great Northern Ghost in a time of urgent need for cash. It was the most amazingly simple yet highly effective recurve I've ever shot. A recurve that light, that shoots that fast shouldn't be so quiet and dead in the hand; but it IS.

Great looking bows! What are those called on the limbs? Some kind of solo stalker? Where are they available? Are they zip tied on?

Those are one arrow quivers by Skookum available at Three rivers for about $15.  They are secured with zip ties.  I use them for stalking to my stand or still hunting.  I carry a Catquiver on my back.

Now that's a nice forky, or is it a six.  Regardless, nice deer.  Re GN Ghosts, I always have at least one in my collection.  I like the straight/traditional grip.  Like everything about them.

I agree, I wont ever get rid of my 56" osage ghost, love the straight grip, with my heel down/ broken wrist, shoots unbelievable
