Since I've come back to archery I keep digging around looking for things I know I should have but just haven't been able to put my hands on and in this process I've found stuff that I'd even forgotten I had. I went looking for an empty bow box yesterday to ship an ELB in and..Wow!! I found some bow woods... 1 piece in particular caught my eye. There are several good staves of osage orange and a bow blank of Vine Maple.
I remembered a good freind as soon as my eyes hit that VM. I got to know and respect Curt Brisky via the internet then had the pleasure of actually getting to spend some time together at a MoBoJam years ago. I guess what I'm saying is "traditonal archery has provided so many and varied treasures in my life" This is just one example. There are many many more... far too many for a person with my typing skills to try and list but there are quite a few of them still posting on this and the other site.(I pray you know who you are)
Thanks for allowing me to ramble on about some of my simple pleasures. Now you if can help? I need to figure out some good way to this (I wannabe-a-bow) wood into the right hands.

God bless,Mudd

PS My solo stalker is still in hiding but now I know I have two grain scales...lol

Archery isn't something I do, it's who I am!
The road to "Sherwood" makes for an awesome journey.
