I think about our men and women in the service everyday. They are in my prayers each day. As we get closer to the holidays I have been trying to think of ways to let them know we are thinking of them and just how much their efforts are appreciated. It was brought to my mind that there are soldiers in hospitals trying to recover and move on with their lifes. I am going to send Christmas cards and some homebaked cookies to some. A little encouragement and saying what is heartfelt may go a long way to lift a spirit. Maybe a hunting story or some pictures...? Any ideas would be appreciated.
