Riser wood to pair with myrtle limbs?

I don't have one of my "dark" Chechen ,  but is pretty dark.

Tall Tines with the low grip. I struggled with trying the low grip, since I have three others with Brian's standard grip, but sure am glad I did. The other three risers will eventually make their way back to Brian for a grip rework and checkering.
