On DEC 5th I had Cubital Tunnel Syndrome Surgery to reroute my Ulnar never in my bow arm.  It has been a very slow recovery but today I finally got back to shooting for a short session after getting the go ahead from the Doc..  Took about 20 shots with my TT Titan set at around 35#.  Surprisingly I shot very well.  Did feel some discomfort at the end but that was to be expected.   You don't know how much you miss something until it is gone.

Take things slowly and please listen to the docs. You'll be back fully by the time the weather gets better!

Good luck with your return. Take it slow and easy, and you will be back in true form soon.

Tony, pretty soon we'll be hitting the 3-D courses again. Don't overdo it. I spent months shooting a 30# bow rehabbing myself. Even took it to Baltimore that year.

Thanks for all the sound advice.  I am definitely going to take it slow.  The thought of not being able to shoot is not very inviting.

In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

Thanks Chris.  Looking forward to it.

That's excellent news. Take your time and make sure you don't over stress things while the healing is still going on, but at the same time get some shooting in to retrain your repaired nerve. You will be as good as new before you know it.
