North Ga or upstate Sc hogs

Looking to get into some public land hogs. I'm in southwest nc and looking to get down to Georgia or south Carolina for better deer hunting. If I can find some decent hogs that will probably be the deciding factor in which state I buy tags for.
I've heard there's some hogs around Anderson Sc but would love to hear from some local guys or people with boots on the ground experience.
