It's getting close to rut time, so they're probably out making scrape lines.  Go check out some ridges or make a mock scrape or two.

I made a few mock scrapes in there, haven't even seen a doe there in two weeks

Read my mind as well. I'm a firm believer in the 2-3 day skip rule. Unless I know I can get in, sit, and get out without anything knowing I was there.

Numerous possible factors...overhunting a particular setup stands out as one significant factor.

I just sat tonight for 3 hours without seeing a deer. That makes 30 hours on stand without seeing a single deer. 4 different stands during that time. Nearly 3 weeks now. Longest "drought" I've ever experienced, in 45 years of hunting!

Several factors: over hunting a particular area, food source changed from red oaks to white oaks, fickle, changing winds, and pressure from other hunters.

Sometimes it is like a puzzle!?!

May be a good time to hang a camera in there....

I have found, in my area, that the best natural draw is white oak acorns. When some of the surrounding properties start baiting with corn, the deer go there.

You might think them deer are use to human scent....but unless them people you are talking about producing that scent you feel the deer are accustom to are penetrating as deeply as you are when you're  hunting,  them deer know the difference. You are better off to hunt a different herd now.

This is the type of thing that seperates success or failures on a consistent basis. We can either learn from it and change, or go on suffering with no deer sightings. Its as simple as that. Few realize or worse yet believe, just how keen and sensitive deer really can be.

Thats because they were likely already on to you, and then you went on out there likely around their travel stinking up the place with your scentin order to make them mock scrapes. No doe, means no bucks. Its time to move on and hopefully learn from the mistakes.

You may have burned that stand out.
I don't pound a single stand until the rut. Then I will

I had this happen. There was a stand of white oaks that was tore up but a big bear moved in and the deer are staying out

jim phenes

same here in ny as far as deer activity in general and doe activity has really slowed. theres a guy by the name of  Charlie alsheimer who is usually spot on with rut predictions he says when your seeing less doe than you usually do in a good stand location it means the bucks are starting the seek phase,i believe that may be what you are experiencing. I do not over hunt any of my spots and doe sightings are down in the last few days, but now the bucks are getting sighted more, it will pick up again! really soon.

i know there were  afew bear cubs near there last week my mother in law saw in driveway in the area

Don't discount moon phase...
