Glove keeps staining my hand - any ideas?

I use a Duraglove from 3Rivers.  I really like the fit and feel of the glove.  I'm on my 5th season with it and it's finally wearing out as the cordura stitching on my index finger has given up and is coming off.  My question is this - even as old as the glove is (1000's of shots), it still stains my hand and fingers terribly every time I sweat in it.  is there anything I can treat the new one I've ordered with to stop this from happening?  I would have though that would only happen the first few times, but I have reddish brown fingers for a few days after every warm weather hunting (since I live in NC, that's most of the season).

Sorry, I can't think of a thing to suggest.  Other than the hope that after 5 seasons, maybe the dye/stain has changed, and this one won't leave it's mark!

Talk to the folks at 3R they may have a solution to the problem.

Maybe some vinyl finger stalls under your glove. I've been shooting that glove for years and don't have that problem and I shoot in heat, rain, and everything.

Really?!?  Well maybe I just got one that the dye didn't set right in?  I ordered a new one that's enroute now from 3Rivers, hopefully it won't do it.  Great glove otherwise.

I used to wash a new Damascus gloves in warm soapy water when to get rid of the excess dye. After its well rinsed I put it on my hand to shape it and set it aside to dry. Then a good rubdown with Montana Pitch Blend. I did this a couple of times a year as needed to remove sweat.

not sure what can be done about that. my American Leathers Crossover does it too in summer time, but it usually washes off pretty quickly.

Wash it in warm soapy water and wear it as it dries.
