Someone has a nice recurve for sale on the classifieds.

I had a SR Swift that was fantastic, had to sell because I dropped down in poundage. Great performers.......and a real friendly grip.
In the beginner's mind there are many possibilities. In the expert's there are few...So the most difficult thing is always to keep your beginner's mind...This is also the real secret of the arts: always be a beginner.  Shunryu Suzuki

I had a Rio Bravo recurve and I liked it a lot. Had one of the best grips and they look and shoot awsome.  Would still have it if it was about 5lbs lighter.

I've owned two- a takedown longbow and a takedown recurve. They were both very stable, consistant bows. I've always liked the looks of their bows- they seem very clean to me.

My kids have a Great Plains one piece youth recurve and it's as good looking a bow as I've owned.

I have a 1 piece sr swift and a 1 piece rio bravo b model. Both very very beautiful and very smooth to shoot. The swift is faster than the b model but both very well made. The craftsmanship with Great Plains is top notch. Every year I receive comments at Compton on the looks of my swift. I have it in the Blackhawk color. You can't go wrong. And they are the nicest people in the world unlike some other bowlers who think their crap don't stink.
