Bear (predator)call question

I have one more weekend for Bear than I have to call it unsuccessful.The call I have has a band that I am suppose to set in the middle of the call for both rabbits and Fawn distress. Am I suppose to call softer like the rabbit or am I not reading something correctly and just wail away because they are both similar sounding
