Hey guys I'm looking at a used z bow stick.  It's 48@29 and I'm only drawing about 27".  The weight feels good for me I've just never owned a bow this long.  Will I loose any performance with this bow due to it being 64" long and my draw length being short?  Sorry if this is a silly question I've just read in the past shorter dl usually shoots a shorter bow, that all maybe myth, but that's why I'm reaching out to the experts!  Thanks in advance.

The length won't make any difference except being smoother and less finger pinch.
Some folks say shooting a bow shorter than it's intended draw length will result in less performance.
I don't believe the,2 inch less draw will matter. It should end up about 42 pounds at your 27" draw.

If it feels good no problem.

I am not an expert at all, but I shoot long bows (68") with a 25" draw. I like it a lot. The draw is smooth I feel well balanced. All my bows shoot about 155 fps. I have no idea what speed other shooters with longer draws get using bows of this length. As macbow says, "If it feels good no problem". That's exactly why I shoot them.
