My buddy bought a lake house and this was on the wall.
Other than the string the bow looks in good shape.
Tell me about it. how old is it and how much is it worth?

Photobucke is messing we me on this one

I'm thinking that will be an early to mid '70s recurve, but I'm no expert.  Not extremely valuable, maybe $100-$150, but it looks to be in pretty good shape.  Should be a good shooter.

pretty good bows.   last one I bought was from auction site for $60 shipped.  I agree though as stated value around $100

I have a cougar that does not look much at all like most of the Pearson bows I have seen. I think it dates way back, possibly to the 1940's. Was a bow by this name sold that far back? I have a Gamester that looks very similar to this pictured Cougar. The old Pearsons are still good bows.

I have a model 709 Hunter.  It's a shorter bow than this, but I love it.  The model # was changed to 7090 in the early '70s.  I'm guessing the '60s Cougars were model #705.  I think all of their bows were changed from 3 to 4 digit model #s the same year.  That's where I got my guess for the age in my first post.
