I want to do a hinge takedown on my 1 piece Pronghorn.  60" 63#.  Anybody ever do one on one of these?

Blackhawk

I never heard of one and kind of surprised mr. Meland has not done the 2-pc.  I would call him and get his feedback on it.

Herb had  built 6 a long time ago.  My bro has 1. He used the sleeve system.

I had talked to Herb about this several times. He has always been concerned about strength on some of the more common two piece attachment items.

As Keith mentioned he did build a few on the sleeve system.

Maybe best to wait and buy a 3 piece.  Shot the one piece tonight and it feels just right the way it is.
Thanks

Herbs 1pc longbows are nice.  One of my favorites.  I had one of the very first 1pc longbows Herb built.  It was stolen.
