Tried the last 2 seasons hunting on the ground with no luck.Had some awesome hunts though.Going back to treestand hunting this season to have a change.Seems you can get away with a little more up above.
HH Cheetah 66in. 48lb at 25in.
HH HalfBreed 66in. 57lb. at 27in.
HH Wesley Special  56lb. at 26in..
HH Big 5          64lb. at 28in.
HH Wesley Special 55lb. at 28in.
HH Redman         60lb. at 28in.

I hear ya......I even bought a ladder stand this year.....it's up and ready to go.

They're not mutually exclusive.  Can do both.  I hunt mostly from trees, but a lot of logging in my area has eliminated a lot of my better stands.  Will be hunting more from the ground this year.

I like tree stand hunting myself, I've been very successful doing it. We have lots of cover and deep woods here. I go up about 12-15 feet.
Odds are with the prepared..
