Best trail cam under $150 ?

Looking to pick up one or two new trail cams, what's your recommendation. My last two were Wild game Innovations and they've given me nothing but headaches.. What do you recommend and why?

The basic,Bushnell Trophy Cam is a good one.I have 9 and some are 6 years old.I see you can find them now for $100,including shipping.That's less than I paid for any of mine.

There have been many threads on this, just do a search and you will get all kinds of info ...  also you can google trail cam reviews and get more info than you'll need ....

I have had good success with Moltrie, Bushnell and Covert ... not so good with Cudde Back but that was years ago and also problems with Stealth. Trail cams are like golf clubs, they are changing models constantly so it is hard to compare Brands without knowing the model. I have an older Moultrie IR cam that has taken thousands of pictures and is still going strong, same with my Bushnell. The covert is new so I can't give feed back on it yet but testing around the house has been fine, I go check it Monday in my elk area and hope it will be full of good pics.

I run cheap Moultries...can't think of the model number and they are all in the woods right now! I bought these 3-4 years ago online and got 3 for $200 shipped.

Moultrie M880 IR.  Do NOT get the white flash version.  VMI Innovations has as good of pricing as you'll find on them with discounts on multi-packs.

I use Bushnells.  Cabelas has 14mp cams on sale for $129 right now.  Reg $189. I bought 4 of them. They take great pics and videos.

I use WGI cameras.   No issues after 4 years of continuous use.   Just bought 3 more today.    The D cell battery ones tend to last about a month on a set of batteries.  AA and C batteries about 6 months, But am pleased with them.  Commonly find them for $50 or less at academy sports.   To me $50 for 4 yeads is pretty good especially when people like to steal them. Just 1x $200 camera stolen hurts alot more.    Lost 1 last year on private property.

I have used about every brand out there and to be honest not sure I would recommend any of them.  They all seem the fail in time.  My longest lasting cams were these cheap Moultrie ones I paid like $60 for on sale at Gander MNT. Bushnell took nice pics but did not last long.  Stealth cams were some of the worst.  My hunting partner has had a couple Browning Spec Ops and they have survived two years with out trouble.  I am going to give one a chance.  It still amazes me that I have cameras that are 20 years old and still work but they just can't seem to make a trail cam that goes just half of that.

I've heard good stuff about the browning cams. I have not owned one yet. I have had a few bushnells and they are good.
My favorite is the Covert mp8's. I bought 4 and leave them 16 hours from home and only check them once a year in November. Last year they all were still taking pics after a year in the woods. One was still full battery power with 8 AA lithiums. Another had 8 AA alkalines and had one battery bar. The 3rd only had 4 lithiums and was still 90% battery life!
They take great pics to boot.

Follow up ... I went up today and checked my new Covert camera that I put out on 6/22/2016 ... I had 1004 pictures, except for the few of me putting it in the lock box and then taking it out all pics are of critters with a very few non critter shots. Overall I was very pleased with the range/ distance of pics taken and the quality of the day and night pics, this is an IR cam so BW night pics ... It was under $100

I've had real good luck with Covert cameras. I don't know if you are a Costco member ,but they have a name brand camera(forgot the name) for $99 and it includes the batteries ,card,straps and tree mounting system

If you live in a state where you can use bait or minerals to get pics then there are a ton of cameras that will do the job. If that isn't legal then I'd look into one with a very fast trigger.

I've got a Primos bulletproof cam that I like. My only complaint is that it seems to be super sensitive. I have a lot of pics of wind blowing leaves, weeds, any little movement sets it off. But it takes good pics night and day. I have 2 others that are Moultrie's. I'm not sure of the model numbers. They're around $100 or so and came from WalMart. They've worked good for several years now. I've been hearing a lot of good things about the Browning cameras and may try to pick one up before season.

This is what I do. I like to dump out a big pile of rice bran meal and set a camera up looking over it. Corn attracts deer in general but I always get buck pics at the rice bran piles.
