What kind of finish is on my Future Wood riser?

Anyone know what finish Predator uses on their Future Wood risers? Does it even have a finish? We all know how a wood grip can get smooth as glass after a lot of use. The riser on my Predator even though worn very smooth, never gets slick?? Rain or hot and sweaty it doesn't get slippery. I'm wondering if the process of making future wood eliminates the need for a finish? With the extreme humidity and heat we get any other bows I have get so slick there is real danger of it slipping out of my hand without a grip wrap of some kind, Just wondering.

Maybe its been through a vacuum stabilization process, so maybe theres no need for an external coat of finish.  Thats just a guess though, I have no real idea.  That future wood does look nice!

Why don't you call the builder and ask him.  I suspect he has some sort of finish on it.

soaked in a resin dyed substance and if in formaldehyde then you don't need a spray already sealed and waterproof
