It has officially arrived here in Ky, don't know when your season starts. Saw some nice ones this morning.

I was able to slip up to within 15 yards this morning and got six shots off. Didn't start too well but did manage to get three kills.

After that the rest of them got spooky so I could only get within twenty yards of them. Managed to get three shots off, no kills.

Shoulder issues won't let me hunt long but I did manage to shoot three more arrows at 30. Man those things are hard to spot at 30 yards..

Got close on first two but third arrow went astray bad to the right, I knew it was time to quit, no sense in wounding apples!

Finally, Tony, you found sump'n green to kill with the green glass bow!
A match made in heaven!
Is it messy guttin' them things out?
Oh, and didn't they tell you? You're supposed to put a boy under that apple. Ask Wm. Tell.

It does make for a sticky arrow. And for the boy under the apple, not enough boys in the neighborhood, the ones that are around have seen me shoot so that's out. My first two  shots of the day in first picture were about 3" under the apple!!

Well....I HEARD Tony is a waitin fer a trophy quality apple. I know fer sure he's passed up a many apple not quite mature enough ta get the juices flow'n. With that new green bow...im a betin that he's gonna get him an apple ripe fer the pickin. All them younger apples, are just preperation for this one BIIIIIIG APPLE.  Yup.... he's gonna drill that dude right in the core. Im feeling kinda sorry for any apples in his circles! Glad you drew an apple tag this year Tony!
