Northern mist rw grip

Any body have a northern mist longbow with a rw grip and how do you like it . Pics.  Thanks

I ordered one on a Classic. I felt the one Steve had at a shoot and asked for one since he was right there looking at my big hands and writing everything down. I am going to see how it works and if it will position my hand perfectly each time. Sure does feel like it should.

I have a Baraga with the RW grip.......fits like a glove. One of the best longbow grips in my opinion. I am away from home right now so no photo is handy.

I was looking At that on his site the other day. Excuse me for my ignorance and NOT being able to figure it out but...what the heck does RW stand for????

I had a Baraga with his locator grip and liked it a lot.

Ron , I believe it does stand for Ron W...but it's someone elses W.

RW is the initials of someone, not sure who.

I have an RW grip on one of my Northern Mist Baraga's. So does my son and daughter. It is an excellent grip style, very ergonomic.

Roger, that is a beautiful Baraga...should have never got rid of mine, but yours is visually stunning! Can't wait to get my Superior in my hands tomorrow after it's delivered.

You will love it.....my Baraga and my Whisper are both green glass. Love the green glass.

Steve likes me better than Roger so he made me a more accurate bow (Shelton, string follow, green glass, Bolivian Rosewood handle).  Actually, Steve was in camp checking up on Roger's new Whisper and seeing how we were doing chasing critters. Now that Steve's moved to Alabama, his trips to Shrewhaven will probably be even less frequent-our loss. Roger's RW grip is a nice feeling grip and probably a more consistent hand placement than my dished traditional grip, however, I love the grip on my Shelton too, in addition to being simple elegance. When I ordered my bow from Steve, I was in his shop and got to try different grips and sizes. That was really helpful to have them side by side and really feel the difference.  





That's an Art Vincent Cedar Ridge back quiver paired up with it. Both functional art.

Yup, Microflight arrows are definitely classics and they're a tough shaft. Year's ago I gave Steve Turay a couple of dozen Microflite #12's, which I used to shoot from a 86# Howard Hill longbow when I was young and foolish. Steve gave me one of his wry smiles of satisfaction. He was a big fan of Microflite's with Pearson Deadheads on them at that time. I was just happy to give them to someone who truly appreciated their historical value.

You keep whispering that to yourself buddy. Actually, I did like shooting your Whisper and the one Steve had in his shop the day I was there. I shot them well, it just didn't feel the same for me.
