I hunted Bankhead in the mid 80's, never saw a hog and very little deer.
Surly someone has hunted there recently and could give a better up-date.

I have learned over the weekend that they have a bunch of hogs. It is a Hugh place 180000 acres plan to go check it out next weekend and see for myself.

I went camping in bankhead several years ago..stayed 3 days barely saw a squirrel

yea they are there,wish not but they are.
I liv not far from there.be careful of the wma boundries you can be ticketed if parked on wma side although you are hunting the national forest lands the wma is inside the national forest

I live in Huntsville so its not far from me.I talked to a guy the other night who has killed some in Bankhead.He said there are a lot of pigs.
