Have a friend that started making decorative arrow shafts and she was looking to buy in bulk or some seconds. Anyone have any suppliers? Thanks

WESTBROOK

I think most arrow shaft suppliers will not sell "seconds" because they could be a hazard.

About the best buy on shafts is from Surewood, $225/100.

Best bet is to call them and ask what they have available.

Surewood
Hildebrand
Wapiti
Rose City

Or just get some dowels..thats generaly the cheapest route.

Pretty easy to make your own shafts too. 1/4" piece of steel and use of a drill press and you have a dowel maker. Try the big search engine or video site

monterey

I second the dowells, if they are not to be shot, why bother with specific archery shafting.

She can also get the Veritas doweler for about $39 bucks and make her own from cheap lumber.  Guess it depends on how many she needs.
