3 Rivers came out with 'collars' years ago, and yes, they add strength to the front of your arrows.

I don't know about the collars but I am looking at their converter adapter for wood arrows to try on bamboo shafts just think it would be a simple way to tune arrows.

Those look very similar to the 3Rivers collars. Yes, IMO money well spent.

Was messing around with these last night. The adapters are threaded on the inside(go onto parallel shaft-no tapering)so you will have to buy their thread cutting tool plus a tool holder in order to cut threads on the outside of the shaft............ one problem, bamboo shafts are too hard for the thread cutting gizmo to be able to cut threads. I ended up trying to force the tool and twisted and cracked the shaft. I may experiment further with thread cutting oil.
Hmmmmm. I know you think you understand what you thought I said, but I'm
not sure that what you heard is what I actually meant!

Yes, it is.

I use them for about a year and they saved me a lot of arrows but I use them at the front and back.

If you use only a frontring the energie of a hard shot will sometimes split the other end of the arrow.
Not every time but often.
I'm not familiar with physics but I think the energy has to find his way out.
