Second Chad or Golden Hawk for that matter, both make good strings.

Contact Golden Hawk!!  Leroy makes a great string.

I have 2 padded loop D97 strings from Chad, best strings I have ever shot, quality/workmanship is perfect.

Never tried Leroy's...maybe I'll have to.  :)

Chad at  www.recurves.com.  All my strings are built by him. You won't be disappointed.

I have used LeRoy's strings. He does a great job!

I appreciate the responses.

I recommend Jim Suttinger aka "heydeerman".

Chad Weaver is a great guy, but doesn't deal with TS1, which I think is the best string material there is. I can highly recommend Chad Renfro's strings from primetimestrings.com . They will be exactly what you order and precisely crafted...all my bows are wearing them now.

Sounds like there are a lot of good choices! I have ordered a couple of strings from Chad Weaver and haven't received them yet. I understand he makes the strings for A&H Archery.

Everything I've ordered from Chad, including strings, his "Doin' the Twist" Flemish Stringmaking DVD, stringboard, and material, have been top notch.  I highly recommend him.  Great person to talk with about what you need - great person overall.
All the best,
Glenn
