I picked one up from Big Jim last week and the grip is nothing like my Red Stripe. The new two tone is a lot beefier.

To me, it's quite a bit different than my all Bubinga model as well. Same thing, seems beefier. I like that, so no problem for me.

It almost has a palm swell. I'm shooting it fine, it's just taking some getting used to.

What are the new black maple B risers like, thats what i hope to get for christmas, if Big Nim ever gets any in. I had a B riser from early 2000 and i didnt care for it, too thin in the handle for my liking.

I wonder if Bear changes the grips from time to time to satisfy different tastes. One reason the Green stripe was (is) popular is it 's thin grip. That grip is much like my 72 SK which I like. My 97 TD is a little fatter. I shoot and hunt with it but Would prefer a thinner grip. I have a small hand so maybe why I prefer a small grip.

I've got a two-tone also, and I just can't get used to the beefy grip.  That's why I'm letting her go.  Hope I can find one someday with a thin grip.

My two tone has a very thin grip which I love. I also bought a GG SK and it had a very thick high wrist grip.

I looked several at Denton hill. They where all different. Just depens on who shaped the grip on that bow. Each one is done differently. I got a really cool looking black one, has lots of marbling. I will be redoing the grip though, too beefy for me.

Well I looked at five grizzly bows the other day all 2015. They all had different grips on them. I mean one was way blocky one was super curvey and slim. I wonder if it varies a bit riser to riser like the grizzly.
Nothing clears a troubled mind like shooting a bow.

This is interesting.... could you post pictures of both risers so we can look at the difference?

Somewhat I read ( here, there ) that the grips are still shaped by hand. That would explain the doffs in the same model, same year mentioned above. You know, close to break time, increased number of bows to finish, close to quitting time? Lots if reasons.
